ALL Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain in Lagos Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi has described the party’s National Leader and presidential aspirant Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu as the best among those aspiring to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
This, he said, is due to his legacies “that will continue to be a reference point of excellence even for posterity yet unborn”.
The octogenarian spoke during a prayer session and empowerment programme organised by the Mainland Independent Group (MIG) in Ebute-Metta Lagos.
He described Tinubu as a man who had toiled and sacrificed far beyond any other politician in the Fourth Republic, especially in ensuring civil rule.
Describing the APC leader as a man imbued with the wisdom of the ages, he recalled that as Lagos State governor, Asiwaju’s remarkable exploits were understudied by his colleagues.
“Other governors sent their men to Lagos to understudy most of his progressive reforms in other to replicate them in their own states,” he said.
Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of the Lagos Waste Management Agency (LAWMA), Alhaji Ibrahim Odumboni, who financed the empowerment of the 105 indigent beneficiaries at the occasion, said Asiwaju had built and raised lots of people from obscurity and nothingness to fame and glory.
