Ex-Kano State Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso has said New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) will prioritise security, jobs, education, among others, if elected into office in 2023.
Kwankwaso said the party is focused on correcting mistakes of the past, and well placed to restore the nation to its former glory and heights.
The former governor, who spoke at the party’s National Convention in Abuja, said with NNPP, the challenges being witnessed would be a forgotten issue.
He urged youths to register with the party and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to get their voter cards and NNPP in 2023.
“This party is all about correcting mistakes of the past and with your support, we will achieve a better Nigeria .
“NNPP will soon be the No. 1 force in the country.”
“Most of our members could not come for the convention because of insecurity on our roads; but I promise you with NNPP, all will be good”.
“This NNPP is fresh air for Nigerians because citizens are looking for a new and better Nigeria since they are tired of the status quo.
National Chairman of the party Prof. Rufai Alkali, from Gombe State, said the party will ensure the development of Nigeria.
Akali noted that the establishment of the party is the beginning of the journey to a new dawn for Nigerians.
“However, you have to play your part by registering with INEC to get your voter cards and coming out to vote during elections”, Alkali said.
